Today on “Shop Talk” #9 we dive deep into the world’s most famous track bike.

The Cinelli Vigorelli is an icon in constant evolution: since its first launch in 2005 the vigorelli has become the world’s most famous track bike, intimately associated with wave after wave of reappropriation of fixed gear bikes by urban racing subcultures.

The frame itself has undergone continuous performance tweaks, fruit of collaboration with our extended family of different athletes, from pure track frame, to fixed gear crit specialist, to traffic-weaving machine. For 2024 the frame returns to its track performance roots, tuned for velodrome specialists (without forgetting urban riders looking for the ultimate speed thrill…).

Vigorelli legacy takes you back where everything started, the velodrome, with no compromise. The new Vigorelli has been designed having in mind the contemporary track use, developed following the hints and needs of experienced sprinters. The aerodynamic seat tube and alu dedicated seat post join the ultrashort (and ultra-reactive) chain stays (377 in all sizes) in a slightly longer frame than traditional, with a negative sloping for an iper-aggressive and aero position of the rider. The fork is a full carbon Columbus Futura Caliper for best handlin also on the track. A brand new generation of pistards is growing!

BLADE LIKE SEAT TUBE The blade like seatpost and the dedicated aero alu seat clamp, all contribute to the best performance in terms of minimised wind resistance, increased stiffness and improved reactivity. Clean internal routing for the rear brake.

UCI APPROVED Vigorelli frame is made of Columbus Airplane Triple butted alloy tubing, UCI approved for track performance.

SHARP CORNERING PRECISION The ultra-light aerospace Columbus Futura Caliper fork and the tapered head tube provide an extremely sharp riding experience, enhancing its precision while cornering.
